I chose this pic from Galveston because my anniversary with my husband was Maundy Thursday and my husband died on Easter. He loved Galveston, and he took this pic, and as it happens I was in Galveston Saturday for a wedding. It has nothing to do with the update but everything to do with where I’ve been emotionally the past week.

A weeping redbud— my “gay” tree. It’s pretty in pink, the leaves have a heart shape, and as it matures its branches will “weep” much like a willow.

A pic from Galveston taken on this day. Tony loved Galveston and took many short trips there to decompress.
